Dr. Beth Blaha
Dr. Beth Blaha is a distinguished mental health professional with an impressive academic and clinical background. Earning her Master’s degree in 2005 and her Doctorate in 2008, Dr. Blaha has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her academic journey includes notable tenures as a college professor at both Marywood University and the University of Scranton, where she shared her expertise with the next generation of mental health professionals.
With a compassionate heart and a keen understanding of human psychology, Dr. Blaha has dedicated 14 years to serving children and families at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY. Her commitment to mental health extends to her work in Poughkeepsie, where she spent a year focusing on inpatient care and outpatient services for individuals with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).
Eric Allen
Eric Allen’s educational background includes online coursework at Yale in positive psychology and adolescents living well, a certification in Ecosystemic Trauma-informed Family Therapy, BCBA coursework at FSU, an MA in General/Theoretical Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and a Dual Bachelor’s degree of Science in Psychology and Philosophy from Messiah University in Grantham, Pennsylvania.
Eric has been providing behavioral health support, therapy and coaching for the last 19 years. He has worked as a Pure Health and Wellness Therapist at a cancer treatment center in Florida, was the director of a community-based behavioral health service provider in the Poconos, and has been running a therapy and coaching business in the Boston area since 2010. As a passion project, he currently teaches and coaches speech and debate at a private school and assists the administration as their guidance counselor for grades K-10.
